As a joint venture between the Northern Centre for Advanced Technology
Inc. (NORCAT) and Electric Vehicle Controllers Ltd. (EVC), the CanaDrill combines mining
and robotic technology to aid in the exploration of microgravity terrains.

The CanaDrill is a unique Canadian device
aimed at the remote terrestrial and space exploration market.
The aim of the project is to
develop a light weight autonomous all electric dry running drill that can pass the space
pre-qualification process currently in use by NASA.
